It is the 6th year of the 21 st century, June 6th. This day is written as 06/06/06 in a lunar calendar format. It actually coincides with the Number of the Beast known as 666. In short, it was a reference to Satan himself.
Who is Satan?
Satan is a Judeo-Christo-Islamic term which is traditionally refered to an angel, demon, or minor god in many belief systems.
Satan plays various roles in the Tanakh, the Apocrypha and New Testament. This term refers to a preternatural entity, an evil, rebellious demon who is the enemy of God and mankind, and the central embodiment of evil. Satan is known to be the 'Prince of Darkness', 'Lucifer', Mephistopheles, Beelzebub, Belial, and most commonly, the Devil.
In Islam, he is commonly refered to in the Qur'an as Shaitan, the primary devil.
And what of the number 666? Why is it called the Mark of the Beast?

Meanwhile, there's a new movie in town called
The Omen. I'm not sure what that movie is about though but judging from the package itself, my guess is the violence and horrors that is creeping in this show. What a coincidence and nice timing to release such a show island-wide this season! It's a must watch if you love horror films.
Advice for all Christians: Don't be such pseudo-spiritual believers thinking that this day is bad. Our Lord is good. He had blessed this day.
As the saying goes, if you believe in God, believe there's a devil. If you believe in the devil, believe there's a God.
