Oh, it's been around three days since I last blogged and it's not that I've been suffering from writer's blog syndrome, but I've been making a trip to
Genting Highlands recently and the trip was pretty relaxing. It's a good way to spend the weekend especially when you have lots of things cropping up your entire week days ago and you've been working your ass out for almost five days a week.
I won't say it's the best place to visit but I visited Genting all because of my father's company vacation trip. It's sort of a benefit for the whole fanily though. In fact, we got a huge discount for visiting that place. Genting Highland is known for it's tremendous height about sea level, it's cold refreshing climate and famously known as the Gambling Heaven. Many people visit Genting for close to one purpose - To Gamble. Well, I'm not that sort of a Casino person but thankfully, I'm not underage either. So, I had the privelege to tour around the Casino. It's just a matter of minutes when I became bored and went shopping instead.
Another thing is.. the shops and eateries don't usually provide good customer service. And Singaporeans, if you think that Singapore's customer service is bad, you should go to Malaysia and experience what I called The Bad Customer Service. They don't tell you much about the details. All they're there for is just to earn some bucks and if you're not happy about what you're getting, too bad. Arguments won't bring you the result you want and sometimes, they can cheat you if you're a tourist, who doesn't seem to know much about their ways of doing things. Fortunately for my side, I don't have much of a problem dealing with such people. All they need is a good talk.
It's challenging having to face a totally different crowd other than Singaporeans who happen to be the uglier types. Many Malaysians, though ugly in certain ways, are more accepting in terms of how they're being treated as customers. On the whole, it's great travelling there by coach as you can view many beautiful sceneries along the way. And that's one of the best things you can look out for when you're going to Malaysia. You don't get to see those in the miserable island of Singapore.
Here're some of the pictures I've taken during the trip. Enjoy!

Saying goodbye to Singapore! We're now crossing the Tuas Causeway..

We're reaching Gentings in few hours' time. Look at those highlands!

Those highlands are beautiful aren't they?

You'll never get to see this in Bukit Timah.
The following photos are taken from the top of where I was near the hotel I was staying. And the best thing was, I've touched the clouds and it feels cold and icy.

I was at the carpark above the clouds.

Fog is coming in..

High above the clouds; On top of the World... I'm in heaven! lolz..

Welcome to Genting Highland!

They don't call this the City on the Hill for nothing.

Saw the Cable Car there. But didn't get the chance to have a ride in it though.

This has to be one of my favourite shot ever.

This is one heck of a foggy situation here. It's cold and foggy.

Aerial view of what it looks like outside my hotel window. This is what earth looks like when you're in heaven.. hehe, just kidding.
Here're some of the best views I've seen in my life. Yet to see more in future though. Here're some of the pics as memories..

Though my stay in Genting Highland is short-lived, I'll never forget the sight of so many sceneries that impressed me so much. It's been 5 years since I last visited Malaysia and seeing all these is absolutely great. As I left Genting Highland on Sunday afternoon, I took a few last shot of what it looked like going down the hill. Here they are..

Goodbye Gambling Heaven...

Going down the slope..

Remembering the last views of this..

If you think that is an aqueduct, you're wrong. It's the highway I've just passed. And they're doing some constructions at the area.. I wonder what it is.

Hitting the roads. No turning back again.

Reaching the Guard House soon..

Last few glimpse of what's on the highland..

Going down the last few turns before hitting the highway..

The highway finally... and it's a long journey back home.

My sister and I were tired after the visit and slept for period of time till we reached Yong Peng for a toilet break.

Before we knew it, we've crossed the causeway and into Tuas once more. The journey is now complete. We're back in Doomsland again!
Holy crap! This sux! Hehehe...
*started manipulating Kit Chan's National song..*
This is Shit truly... where I know I must be... where my dreams can **** me.. where the people kena ******.
This is Shit surely... if my senses tell me... this is where I won't call it home... and this is where I know I'm doomed!Yea.. back to work, back to serious business. Damn! This is what life in Singapore is about lately. REAL fun exists outside this place.. you bet!
Alright, back to business as usual. And I'll be slacking this week. Not much work to do.. so, stop bugging me! Thanks.
