Oh, it's been around three days since I last blogged and it's not that I've been suffering from writer's blog syndrome, but I've been making a trip to
Genting Highlands recently and the trip was pretty relaxing. It's a good way to spend the weekend especially when you have lots of things cropping up your entire week days ago and you've been working your ass out for almost five days a week.
I won't say it's the best place to visit but I visited Genting all because of my father's company vacation trip. It's sort of a benefit for the whole fanily though. In fact, we got a huge discount for visiting that place. Genting Highland is known for it's tremendous height about sea level, it's cold refreshing climate and famously known as the Gambling Heaven. Many people visit Genting for close to one purpose - To Gamble. Well, I'm not that sort of a Casino person but thankfully, I'm not underage either. So, I had the privelege to tour around the Casino. It's just a matter of minutes when I became bored and went shopping instead.
Another thing is.. the shops and eateries don't usually provide good customer service. And Singaporeans, if you think that Singapore's customer service is bad, you should go to Malaysia and experience what I called The Bad Customer Service. They don't tell you much about the details. All they're there for is just to earn some bucks and if you're not happy about what you're getting, too bad. Arguments won't bring you the result you want and sometimes, they can cheat you if you're a tourist, who doesn't seem to know much about their ways of doing things. Fortunately for my side, I don't have much of a problem dealing with such people. All they need is a good talk.
It's challenging having to face a totally different crowd other than Singaporeans who happen to be the uglier types. Many Malaysians, though ugly in certain ways, are more accepting in terms of how they're being treated as customers. On the whole, it's great travelling there by coach as you can view many beautiful sceneries along the way. And that's one of the best things you can look out for when you're going to Malaysia. You don't get to see those in the miserable island of Singapore.
Here're some of the pictures I've taken during the trip. Enjoy!
Saying goodbye to Singapore! We're now crossing the Tuas Causeway..
We're reaching Gentings in few hours' time. Look at those highlands!
Those highlands are beautiful aren't they?
You'll never get to see this in Bukit Timah.
The following photos are taken from the top of where I was near the hotel I was staying. And the best thing was, I've touched the clouds and it feels cold and icy.
I was at the carpark above the clouds.
Fog is coming in..
High above the clouds; On top of the World... I'm in heaven! lolz..
Welcome to Genting Highland!
They don't call this the City on the Hill for nothing.
Saw the Cable Car there. But didn't get the chance to have a ride in it though.
This has to be one of my favourite shot ever.
This is one heck of a foggy situation here. It's cold and foggy.
Aerial view of what it looks like outside my hotel window. This is what earth looks like when you're in heaven.. hehe, just kidding.
Here're some of the best views I've seen in my life. Yet to see more in future though. Here're some of the pics as memories..
Though my stay in Genting Highland is short-lived, I'll never forget the sight of so many sceneries that impressed me so much. It's been 5 years since I last visited Malaysia and seeing all these is absolutely great. As I left Genting Highland on Sunday afternoon, I took a few last shot of what it looked like going down the hill. Here they are..
Goodbye Gambling Heaven...
Going down the slope..
Remembering the last views of this..
If you think that is an aqueduct, you're wrong. It's the highway I've just passed. And they're doing some constructions at the area.. I wonder what it is.
Hitting the roads. No turning back again.
Reaching the Guard House soon..
Last few glimpse of what's on the highland..
Going down the last few turns before hitting the highway..
The highway finally... and it's a long journey back home.
My sister and I were tired after the visit and slept for period of time till we reached Yong Peng for a toilet break.
Before we knew it, we've crossed the causeway and into Tuas once more. The journey is now complete. We're back in Doomsland again!
Holy crap! This sux! Hehehe...
*started manipulating Kit Chan's National song..*
This is Shit truly... where I know I must be... where my dreams can **** me.. where the people kena ******.
This is Shit surely... if my senses tell me... this is where I won't call it home... and this is where I know I'm doomed!Yea.. back to work, back to serious business. Damn! This is what life in Singapore is about lately. REAL fun exists outside this place.. you bet!
Alright, back to business as usual. And I'll be slacking this week. Not much work to do.. so, stop bugging me! Thanks.

I've just received my belated Valentine's Day present from my darling in the States. We thought the package would arrive on Valentine's Day itself, but never knew it'll take that long. Well, anyway.. I guess I was right, the tie and the tie pin look good on me.
I haven't taken any photos of me wearing it yet, but I'll do so sooner or later. And honey, thank you for the wonderful gift and the card, really touches my heart when I read it.
I realized now that there's no one who loves me more than you do. I know that I may have hurt you sometimes before, but just wanna let you know that I'll be with you no matter what, coz I love you still.
Again, Happy Valentine's Day darling. I like the present very much. When you're with me, everyday is like Valentine's Day honey. Here, I've taken the pictures of the gifts you sent me. Hahaha.. you can also get them and put it up in your blog too.
The tie and the Tie Pin
A close shot on the Tie Pin
Hehehe.. and here's the card Wendy sent me.
And YAY!!!!! I'm so happy I've passed my Basic Theory Driving Test! And yes, I've failed once due to not studying smart and not knowing the questions well, as well as not reading the questions carefully. I was poorly prepared. But this time, I've beaten this test once and for all! Praise be on to God! Now I'm on my way to studying for my Final Theory and then, I'll be ready to hit the road with my instructor.
See ya in my car this year!

Hey people! It's Valentine's Day!
Couples: *applause*Singles: *jeer*Well, relax singles! It's not a day to just celebrate with your significant others, but rather it's a day to celebrate Love itself. I don't know why there's such a day invented or created in history that leads to such a celebration but I know that love is not just found in BGR itself. It's a universal thing. And love is divided into 3 kinds - Agape, Philio and Eros.
Agape = Unconditional Love
Philio = Brotherly Love
Eros = Sensual Love (Something sexual as well)
So you see, Valentine's Day isn't just a day to spend time with your significant others, it's also a day to spend time with your friends and love ones at home. It's always a delight to show love and concern towards people you love and care about. Don't be so narrow-minded singles - it's something to rejoice about.
And what would you do on this day? Remember, be loving to others and care for the ones you really love and cherish. Help those who are in need and bless others in more ways than one (it could be anything you thought about). In return, I believe you'll be rewarded. People will love you back and you'll in turn make friends.
More friends = More connections
More connections = Easier to spot The One you've been looking for
Who knows..? You see. It's just so simple like being a blessing to others. So singles, please don't sulk at home on Valentine's Day, get charged up for this day; maybe do something great to others or perhaps you may pamper yourself on this day too. It's always good to love yourself. Buy yourself a rose. Get yourself new clothes. Get yourself some presents. Pamper yourselves today. In fact, let me tell you a secret:
Somebody out there loves you a lot! Really.I've learned in my past experience that being sulky on this day or in fact, everyday, will not solve the problem. The problem lies in yourself alone. One must be confident in order to win somebody's heart. And if your heart has been broken, don't dwell on it. Take it strong, take it well, and then pick yourself up and finish the race. It is still your choice.
My buddy.. (you know who you are) don't take too long to recover from such rejections. Take it positively. I know it's hard and it's always hard for people who were at one time blindly in love. Been there; felt that. But then, someone poured too much kerosene over me and woke me up by setting me on fire. That was cruel but I learned my lesson. Thus, my undecisive self has been transformed into something positive. It's just a matter of making the decision to move on. Take it
like a man bro. Remember, a man has to be strong so that woman can trust us to love them fully and so they'll have more freedom to love us back.
I wonder if you really get it this time.
Finally, to all couples celebrating with their significant others, it's time to rejoice. Make this day a memorable one before having to wait for another 365 days again. You've got only one chance so make the best out of it. The worse things that could ever happen during Valentine's Day has been consolidated. Here they are: -
The Top 10 Worse Things That Could Happen During V-Day10. The last bouquet of flowers you booked was accidentally sold to another person.
09. You discovered your significant other was checking out your best friend.
08. Your significant other looked at you in the eye, got closer to kissing you.. then suddenly told you there's a hair growing on one of your moes.
07. You were making love to your significant other when you accidentally fart.
06. You were about to kiss your significant other when a moth landed on your lips.
05. Your condom was sabotaged before the intercourse (without you even knowing you dickhead).
04. Your significant other screamed the wrong name in bed.
03. You discovered your significant other is a transversite.
02. You learned that your significant other is gay.
01. You thought that the anus opening was the clitoris. OMFG!!!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!!

Yay! Finally Wendy received her present and she was hugging
bear bear the whole night while sleeping. Aww... posted the pictures in the forum as well and everybody was so smithened by my sweetness.
Ar well.. I'm happy that Wendy enjoyed
bear bear's company for the first night. Hopefully I can get to see him again when she return this year.
I was offended twice after church service today while fellowshiping with my church mates. Apparently, many of them do not understand me well like I do myself. I understand them and I can tell you, I do not like some of them. I have one kind of instinct, which can make me feel my way around. And if I don't like a person, I'll be really distant or cold towards him or her.
Firstly, someone was saying that I'm a growing kid. Number one, NEVER NEVER EVER EVER.. say that in front of me. It totally insults my entire pride and dignity. Well, what causes them to say that? I don't know for sure, but perhaps they're much older than me so that's why. Somebody's REeEeallY very old to point of senility and mental concussion. In the first place, I've never considered myself as someone who's not really mature enough. Why? Because MATURITY = RESPONSIBILITY. So if you're saying that I'm a sort of irresponsible person, then YOU are totally very STUPID or YOU are totally very IGNORANT!
And some people can still pick up the guts to ask me to show them how mature I am. This is not the way and I'm not proving to anybody because there's nothing to prove. It's ALL in the open and it's in the words I speak. And if they don't understand the gibberish I'm speaking then they can jolly well go to hell. God bless them with wisdom man... this is not the way dudes and dudettes.
Secondly, I overheard something in someone's car and this one's pardonable because only ignorance is involved not stupidity this time. Somebody said that Malaysian girls are naive,
bodo and submissive. I can tolerate the last comment but not the first two. Why?
Because,
ONE: My girlfriend's a Malaysian.
TWO: Malaysian girls have a mind themselves and they have had their fair share of hardships too, which Singaporean girls do not experience.
THREE: Many Singaporeans are spoilt brats.
FOUR: Many Singaporeans are biggots.
FIVE: Many Singaporeans are ignorant bunch of (whatever you want to fill in).
Never mind. I'm not included in that classification simply because I'm the minority. Muahahahahaha... Hate me if you want. I don't give a damn.
So, it's good to be the quieter person at the corner sometimes. You'll get to hear so many things going around the place.
Well.. that's all for now. I'm not taking those offences to heart already. Somehow it's good ranting over here. Alright, I've had a heavy dinner and supper just now and I'm ready to chill for the night before sleeping.
Sayonara junkies!
February 10, 2006
Just came back from work today and had a huge burger from Carl's Jr. which my dad brought home for the family today. Haiz.. been busy this week and almost everyday was work, work and work.
And yes! Four more days to Valentine's Day!!!
Any plans to celebrate this lovely day? Hmm... For those who are single, don't fret, there're still many things you can do on this day. I don't know how are you all going to spend that day.. ah well, just be kind to others and do stuffs that are satisfying and fulfilling to your soul.
For couples, I'm sure you guyz know what to do. For me, it's just staying at home talking to my girlfriend who's now in the States. Kinda miserable though, but after she's back, Valentine's day might be different after all.
And I've sent her "bear bear" to watch and protect her till she comes back this June. Hopefully it'll reach her safely to guard her room. It's a pretty cute bear and since it's no longer a surprise, I shall post the pictures of it here.
All wrapped up and ready to go...Goodbye.. and see you once I return as wellI bought this bear from Mini-toons. Actually I thought of buying from Precious Thots but I was out shopping one day and came across Mini-toons, so I thought maybe I should give it a try. Then, out of no where, some creature called out my name and I responded in its direction and, I found this cutey sitting on the shelf all alone with other different coloured bears and soft toys. It stood out from the rest as I caught sight of it. It looked kinda lost so I thought maybe I should own it. In the end, I brought it home with me and prepared it for its free flight over to Wendy.
Too bad I couldn't be with wendy this Valentine's Day and going over to the States would means pouring all my fortunes away overnight. It's kinda silly that many guys would say that they'd do anything to get to the girl even if it takes just one second of their time to be with her, and it cost them a fortune..! Well, SNAGs and wussies will never get what I mean. I just believe that money is to be spent in a correct way of course.
Maybe I'm not the best boyfriend around. Maybe I'm not a perfect boyfriend. Maybe I'm a little bit of a jerk. But still, I prefer to love with principles and wisdom; without conditions.
My friends are really impressed with how Wendy and I are so close even today that our love for each other is still going strong despite many temptations and tribulations. Forumites alike admire us for our relationship's longevity and strength. I was really flattered at the same time grateful that my years of hardship and rejections finally paid off. I've paid a huge price learning things the hard way before knowing how to get it right. Well, I guess it's a miracle that I've met someone who really loves me alot and I don't know how much I can meassure to that. I'm not perfect although she regarded me as the most perfect boyfriend in the world.
Well, our story will go on. But I hope that there'll be more Valentine's Day to be celebrated together in future. My heart is glowing with passion and yet couldn't afford to take another blow. Perhaps, more tests will come by?
No matter, I believe in every hell of a situation all of us go through, we'll always emerge victorious and stronger in time to come. God isn't the one playing with us, He's doing all these for our own good. He wants to strengthen us and entend our limits to point of maturity beyond our own imagination.
Wendy, Happy Valentine's Day. I love you.
February 04, 2006
My morning was horrendous! I woke up with a terrible sore throat and I couldn't even speak a word! Damn... this is one horrible thing to ever happen to me at this point in time. I couldn't even sing now, and guess what, I've got to work this Sunday and my job requires me talking with my customers over the phone for hours.
And so, the entire day was spent not talking much and not eating the things I love eating usually. And that really sucks. Oh, how I wish my throats gets better by this Sunday.
Bearing the pain in my throat, I took the big bear, which I bought for my honey's valentine's day present and wrapped it up in a transparent plastic wrap. Beside the bear, I placed a love note. So with what I got, I made my way down to Singpost to get this gift delivered to Wendy. Before that, I took some photos of "bear bear", which I'll only show it after Wendy receive it. It looks just so cute and huggable! Hehehe.. I'll post the pics soon as some of you have been so excited to see it.
And then, Robin called me to go to town with him to have a drink. Okay... so I went and because we had nothing to do after that, we walked around to see if there're anything interesting. Nothing - and my legs were becoming like jellies. I was really tired physically and probably a bit lethagic too, due to the fact that I woke up pretty early to see
bear bear off at Singpost for its luxurious flight to the United States. Besides, I was horribly dehydrating and I can smell blood from my aching throat. I had already finished my bottle of water I had with me, thus, I made my way back to Ang Mo Kio with Robin to grab a bottle of water from Cheers, since it's so near his place.
Suddenly, in a distance, I could see a spring of life before me. It sparkled like an oasis dazzling me with its huge letterings. And this was what I saw...
Yea..! I finally got a Life! Can't imagine a life without Life.
Excellent, thereafter, my throat gets a little bit better. By that time, Robin had to go, and I had to make my way to Sembawang for a Cell Group Meeting with my fellow church mates.
Still, nothing better to do, I stared at the bottle I bought. Of course, I'd already drank most of it. The issue with me then was that, my body was totally lethargic and I was stoning all the way. And so I thought of many stupid things...
Q: Is this bottle half filled or half empty?
A: Of course not la.
Q: Why? It can be both.
A: Haha.. so stupid. The water level is only this much. How can it be half filled? If it's not half filled, what makes you think it's half empty?
Q: It is not, I agree. But it looks like though... from the way I see it on the table.
A: Nope, I say it's neither.
Q: I would say it's half filled to be positive enough. Heh~
A: Why? Please explicate.
Q: Look at the water level, where does it falls between?
A: Hmm.. the base of the bottle and the base of the label.
Q: Exactly! And how between is it in between?
A: Middle?
Q: YES! Precisely.. So is it still half filled or half empty?
A: Erm.. to you, maybe it's half filled. But to me.....
Q: Why do you still insist that u r smarter then me?
A: Because you are half of my height? Look at you, you are looking up the table and you can only see the base of the label and not even the bottle cap!
Q: -_-""Okay... I know this is lame but what can you do to the one who has nothing better to do when he's alone? Hmm.. I guess that's the way to exercise the mind to a horrible extent.
Anyway, I received news from my forum mates in sgforums that my comments along with others were published on a chinese newspaper (lian he zao bao) two days ago. Here's a copy of that news -
For those who can't read chinese, too bad, I'm your worst translator you will ever find because my chinese sucks, and yeah.. BIG TIME. Well basically, if you wanna know what the hell it's talking about, take a look at this
forum thread and you'll know. It's mainly talking about what's going on in this thread.
And oh, by the way, my nick's The Emperor if you haven't got a clue.
That's it, I'm gonna go take a rest, which I've been lacking recently.
See you guyz around!
